I really do. But be careful to not throw out the baby with the bath water. It's easy to look at what's wrong with America and throw your hands up. But we salute the flag for the ideals we strive for. Yes, our civil liberties have been severely curtailed in recent years: that's why civil liberties are worth fighting for. Yes, the far right has used religion for their own nefarious purposes, but following a "God" or the ideals of a religion ideals is protected in this country, and that right is worth fighting for. I would agree that your pledge is very appropriate for the current occupants of the White House. That's why we need to fight for a change of occupancy in a truly Democratic manner. If that means impeachment, then so be it. But it is more likely that it will mean an election, and a victory in '08. I look forward to the campaign. Eamon: I get what you’re saying. I really do.
